Daily Life Supports encourages participants to avoid social isolation and engage in the community in fun and exciting ways. Research has shown that having an active social life can improve physical and mental health, lower your risk of chronic illness and even increase your life expectancy! The direction of our community access service is always determined by the participant and can include; shopping trips, exercise sessions, participation in local social groups or clubs or, let us take you out of the city and reconnect with country, visiting all the natural wonders that Cairns has to offer.

At Daily Life Supports, we recognise that everyone needs a helping hand around the home from time to time, and our dedicated team is always happy to help! The importance of teamwork is paramount, and has been shown to reduce stress, encourage personal growth and promote innovation. Daily Life Supports will work along side participants, offering assistance and advice in all areas of the home, including garden maintenance, budgeting, meal preparation, cooking and cleaning.
Support worker Joseph is a qualified chef and is always eager to work with clients in preparing delicious and healthy meals!

At Daily Life Supports we believe that gaining the ability to master new skills, serves as the foundation for personal growth and prosperity.
Beginning new tasks and challenges can seem daunting, but with the right support network in place, participants can realise their true potential and begin to turn their dreams into reality. Our team works side by side with participants helping them to achieve their goals and build upon their skill sets. Daily Life Supports can offer assistance in finding and keeping a job, accessing the community, attending social groups, improving physical and mental health and skill development.
Daily Life Supports would like to acknowledge the Gimuy Walaburra Yidinji and Yirrangangi People, as the Traditional owners and ongoing custodians of the land, seas, and waterways on which we live and grow. We would like to pay respect to their Elders both past, present and emerging, and extend that respect to all First Nations Australians.
